OUR MISSION is to develop, promote, administer the
game of soccer among youth without regard to race, creed, sex, ability
or economic advantage within Pittsburg California.
Advancing futures, building community, transforming lives. THE OBJECTIVE Is that every young player who loves soccer should have the opportunity to join a Club and belong to a team and prepare them for careers in the big leagues of the world, or simply help prepare young people to meet the challenges they will face and to take leadership roles within their communities.
The PPSC's Board of Directors decided to create a strategic plan in order to reflect on the past year experience and to plan in a formal way to address the challenges which will face us in the decade ahead. The strategic plan will enable PPSC to direct its efforts toward the accomplishment of specific goals and objectives.
The strategic plan is ambitious. While we have accomplished much over the past years, we want to continue to grow the PPSC so that it can make an even greater impact, providing increasing soccer opportunities for less advantaged youth and enhancing the PPSC's good reputation and stature throughout Pittsburg, California.
Accordingly, our vision for the PPSC includes the following ten-year goals: • Become known as a major force in youth soccer, providing grants and helping hundreds of young people grow into community leaders. • Grow our reserves (endowment) to a size that will fully support all of the PPSC's administrative expenses, guaranteeing that future contributions will go directly to support athletic programs for young soccer players. • Expand the awareness of the PPSC in the community, enhancing the Club's good reputation and stature throughout Pittsburg California helping to encourage youth to participate.
To achieve these goals, the PPSC will implement a number of strategies. In brief: We plan to expand the number of participants, in PPSC events, adding new events as appropriate, while also seeking major donations through various methods and incentives. As always, participation will be entirely voluntary.
We plan to increase the impact of our grants, forming strategic partnerships with other organizations that share our mission, while also refining our grants criteria and developing a system for evaluating grantee performance against measurable goals.
We plan to design and implement a media strategy to publicize the PPSC's activities and encourage other organizations and soccer clubs in Pittsburg, the Bay Area and around the country to follow our example.

OUR COLORS Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation. Yellow is the color of sunshine. It's associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy.
