(PITTSBURG CA Sunday August 31, 2008) Vincent S. Ferrante, Trustee, Pittsburg Unified School District, the first one to kick the ball at our BASA Pitbull's Adult Open Age player tryouts for an additional team to play in the San Francisco Soccer Football League (SFSFL)* Third Division.

Vince kicked the ball after explaining his job as PUSD member of the Board of Trustees, followed by an inspirational speech dealing with the importance of education, pride, respect  and responsibility to give back to the community as the key ingredients for success.  Adult Mayor and Third Division members will continue to train weekly in preparation for the 2009 Championship.
